Installation Instructions

Fiber Cement Board Installation Guide

1. Fiber Cement Board Preparation:

• According to the design requirements, install supporting aluminum accessories (six aluminum accessories per sheet) on the back of the fiber cement board. The maximum board size is 2780 × 1220 mm.
• Mark the vertical distance (600 mm) between the transverse keels and ensure the fiber cement board's size is uniform. Fix the supporting aluminum fasteners at the intersections using 10 mm long and 4 mm thick stainless steel screws.

2. Construction Wall Preparation:

• Clean the wall surface, then mark out the position and partition lines for the steel components according to the design drawings and actual needs.

3. Wire Hanging:

• Use steel wire (∮1.0-∮1.2) for vertical wire hanging, with an 8-10 kg counterweight iron at the lower end. The upper end should be attached to a special wire hanging angle iron frame.
• Fix the angle iron frames at the top corners of the wall with expansion bolts and mark the top and bottom control lines.

4. Keel Installation:

• First, fix a 50×50×4 angle iron (with adjustable holes) on the structural surface using ∮8 expansion bolts. The horizontal distance between the angle iron and the 50×50×3.5 vertical square steel tube should be 800 mm.
• When installing the vertical square steel tube, use steel wire to ensure perpendicularity from top to bottom.
• Install the fastening angle iron and transverse aluminum keel (spacing of 600 mm). Connect the angle iron, square steel tube, and transverse keel with ∮10 bolts.
• Use an infrared level meter to check that the horizontal aluminum keel is level and a steel line to check vertical alignment.

5. Fiber Cement Board Installation:

• Mount the pre-processed fiber cement boards onto the keel according to the design drawings, using aluminum accessories to secure the panels to the keel.
• Hang the fiber cement boards lightly on the keel and adjust their horizontal and vertical alignment using the upper and lower steel wires.
• Check the board seams to ensure they are uniform, as per the design requirements.
• Tighten the stainless steel screws (20 mm long and 6 mm thick) to secure the boards to the aluminum accessories.

6. Board Joint Treatment:

• Use fiber cement board powder mixing glue to fill the seams and then apply special coating twice. Ensure the filling is uniform and complete when filling the gaps.

7. Additional Steps for Keel and Board Installation:

• Fix the top and bottom keels with expansion bolts on the top floor and floor.
• Align the vertical keels according to the required spacing (generally 612 mm) and install the lateral supporting keels.
• Cut the board material to the required dimensions (approximately 10 mm shorter than the wall height).
• Fix the board material to the keel using tapping screws, ensuring the screws are spaced 200-250 mm apart, with the screw heads sinking 0.5 mm below the board surface.
• Maintain an expansion gap of about 4 mm between the boards.
• Install the cladding starting from the middle and progressing to the four sides, ensuring that no multiple points are fixed simultaneously to avoid internal stress and warping of the boards.
• Depending on the needs, glass cotton or rock wool may be filled before the boards are packaged and fixed.

7. End Production-mass production products photos and samples will send to you for approval. You
    can also arrange the third party inspection if necessary.

8. Clients make payment for balance and ship the goods .Also can accept payment term-balance
     against B/L Copy or L/C payment term. Inform the tracking number and check the status for clients.
